Syncope

Syncope is related to idiopathic ventricular fibrillation, non brugada type and second-degree atrioventricular block. An important gene associated with Syncope is SCN5A (Sodium Voltage-Gated Channel Alpha Subunit 5), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Cardiac conduction and Dopamine-DARPP32 Feedback onto cAMP Pathway. The drugs Propranolol and Fludrocortisone have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include heart and brain, and related phenotypes are muscle and homeostasis/metabolism
