Pneumocystosis (PCP)

Pneumocystosis, also known as pneumocystis jirovecii pneumonia, is related to subcutaneous mycosis and immunodeficiency with hyper-igm, type 1. An important gene associated with Pneumocystosis is DHPS (Deoxyhypusine Synthase), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Innate Immune System and MIF Mediated Glucocorticoid Regulation. The drugs Caspofungin and Sulfisoxazole have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include bone marrow and small intestine, and related phenotypes are fever and dyspnea
