Pleurisy

Pleurisy is related to pleural empyema and pleural tuberculosis, and has symptoms including pleuritic pain and dyspnea. An important gene associated with Pleurisy is ADA (Adenosine Deaminase), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Innate Immune System and Bacterial infections in CF airways. The drugs Cefazolin and Clindamycin have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include lung and t cells, and related phenotypes are cellular and liver/biliary system
