Pleural Tuberculosis

Pleural Tuberculosis, also known as tuberculous pleurisy in primary progressive tuberculosis, is related to tuberculous peritonitis and tuberculous empyema. An important gene associated with Pleural Tuberculosis is ADA (Adenosine Deaminase), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Innate Immune System and ERK Signaling. The drugs Adenosine and Prednisolone have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include t cells and nk cells, and related phenotypes are homeostasis/metabolism and growth/size/body region
