Placenta Praevia, also known as placenta previa, is related to neonatal anemia and placental abruption. An important gene associated with Placenta Praevia is MIR517A (MicroRNA 517a), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Hedgehog signaling pathway and Kisspeptin/kisspeptin receptor system in the ovary. The drugs Carbetocin and Alprostadil have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include placenta and cervix.
