Otorrhea, also known as discharging ear, is related to chronic purulent otitis media and suppurative otitis media. An important gene associated with Otorrhea is TGIF1 (TGFB Induced Factor Homeobox 1), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Immunoregulatory interactions between a Lymphoid and a non-Lymphoid cell and Dendritic Cells Developmental Lineage Pathway. The drugs Levofloxacin and Ofloxacin have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include bone and temporal lobe.
