Osteosclerosis

Osteosclerosis, also known as acquired osteosclerosis, is related to endosteal hyperostosis, autosomal dominant and camurati-engelmann disease. An important gene associated with Osteosclerosis is LRP5 (LDL Receptor Related Protein 5), and among its related pathways/superpathways are ERK Signaling and Akt Signaling. The drugs Soy Bean and Salicylic acid have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include bone and cortex, and related phenotypes are homeostasis/metabolism and growth/size/body region
