Osteonecrosis

Osteonecrosis, also known as bone necrosis, is related to osteomyelitis and cartilage disease, and has symptoms including back pain, muscle cramp and sciatica. An important gene associated with Osteonecrosis is MIR122 (MicroRNA 122), and among its related pathways/superpathways are MicroRNAs in cardiomyocyte hypertrophy and Overlap between signal transduction pathways contributing to LMNA laminopathies. The drugs Clavulanic acid and Amoxicillin have been mentioned in the context of this disorder.
