Mechanical Strabismus

Mechanical Strabismus, also known as strabismus, is related to graves disease 1 and graves' disease, and has symptoms including ophthalmoplegia, spasm of conjugate gaze and anomalies of divergence. An important gene associated with Mechanical Strabismus is TPO (Thyroid Peroxidase), and among its related pathways/superpathways is Thyroxine (thyroid hormone) production. The drugs Atracurium and Isoflurane have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include eye and thyroid.
