Lipomatosis

Lipomatosis, also known as benign symmetrical lipomatosis, is related to encephalocraniocutaneous lipomatosis and lipomatosis, familial multiple, and has symptoms including exanthema and pruritus. An important gene associated with Lipomatosis is FGFR1 (Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 1), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Signal Transduction and RAF/MAP kinase cascade. The drugs Dapagliflozin and Hypoglycemic Agents have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include skin and spinal cord, and related phenotypes are homeostasis/metabolism and growth/size/body region
