Keratomalacia, also known as vitamin a deficiency, is related to hypercarotenemia and vitamin a deficiency, autosomal dominant and xerophthalmia, and has symptoms including other specified visual disturbances, photophobia and amaurosis fugax. An important gene associated with Keratomalacia is RHO (Rhodopsin), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Metabolism and Visual phototransduction.
