Ectopic Cushing Syndrome, also known as cushing syndrome due to ectopic acth secretion, is related to hypokalemia and neuroendocrine tumor. An important gene associated with Ectopic Cushing Syndrome is POMC (Proopiomelanocortin), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Corticotropin-releasing hormone signaling pathway and Mammary gland development pathway - Pregnancy and lactation (Stage 3 of 4). The drugs Dopamine and Octreotide have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include pituitary and lymph node, and related phenotypes are diabetes mellitus and increased circulating cortisol level
