Diastematomyelia

Diastematomyelia, also known as split cord malformation, is related to hemi-myeloschisis and hemi-myelomeningocele. The drugs Acetazolamide and Carbonic Anhydrase Inhibitors have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include spinal cord and dorsal root ganglion, and related phenotype is abnormality of the nervous system.
