Cephalocele

Cephalocele, also known as craniocele, is related to zechi-ceide syndrome and dandy-walker malformation with occipital cephalocele, autosomal dominant. An important gene associated with Cephalocele is PIBF1 (Progesterone Immunomodulatory Binding Factor 1). Affiliated tissues include brain and olfactory bulb.
