Common Wart

Common Wart, also known as verruca vulgaris, is related to plantar wart and superficial basal cell carcinoma. An important gene associated with Common Wart is TMC8 (Transmembrane Channel Like 8), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Toll-like receptor signaling pathway and Interferon Pathway. The drugs Copper and Cantharidin have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include skin and tongue, and related phenotype is hematopoietic system.
