Calcinosis

Calcinosis, also known as pathologically calcified structure, is related to tumoral calcinosis, normophosphatemic, familial and familial tumoral calcinosis. An important gene associated with Calcinosis is SAMD9 (Sterile Alpha Motif Domain Containing 9), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Signal Transduction and Phospholipase-C Pathway. The drugs Sevelamer and Alendronic acid have been mentioned in the context of this disorder.
