Cicatricial Pemphigoid, also known as mucous membrane pemphigoid, is related to ocular cicatricial pemphigoid and pseudomembranous conjunctivitis. An important gene associated with Cicatricial Pemphigoid is COL17A1 (Collagen Type XVII Alpha 1 Chain), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Phospholipase-C Pathway and Collagen chain trimerization.
