Blastomycosis

Blastomycosis, also known as infection by blastomyces dermatitidis, is related to lobomycosis and paracoccidioidomycosis, and has symptoms including skin lesions, lung lesions and pleural thickening. An important gene associated with Blastomycosis is IL6 (Interleukin 6), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Innate Immune System and Immune response IL-23 signaling pathway. The drugs Voriconazole and Deoxycholic acid have been mentioned in the context of this disorder.
