Asbestosis

Asbestosis, also known as asbestos intoxication, is related to pneumoconiosis and anthracosis. An important gene associated with Asbestosis is GSTM1 (Glutathione S-Transferase Mu 1), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Innate Immune System and Toll-Like receptor Signaling Pathways. The drugs Nintedanib and Protein Kinase Inhibitors have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include lung and heart, and related phenotypes are dyspnea and abnormality of the respiratory system
