Arachnoiditis

Arachnoiditis, also known as adhesive arachnoiditis, is related to bacterial meningitis and glanders. An important gene associated with Arachnoiditis is SERP1 (Stress Associated Endoplasmic Reticulum Protein 1), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Cytokine Signaling in Immune system and 4-1BB Pathway. The drugs Cyclophosphamide and Coenzyme M have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include spinal cord and brain, and related phenotypes are muscle weakness and hearing impairment
