Angioedema

Angioedema, also known as angioneurotic oedema, is related to angioedema, hereditary, 3 and angioedema, hereditary, 1, and has symptoms including edema and peau d'orange. An important gene associated with Angioedema is F12 (Coagulation Factor XII), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Response to elevated platelet cytosolic Ca2+ and Complement cascade. The drugs Omalizumab and Lactitol have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include skin and tongue, and related phenotypes are homeostasis/metabolism and renal/urinary system
