Retinal Degeneration

Retinal Degeneration, also known as degeneration of retina, is related to late-onset retinal degeneration and peripheral retinal degeneration. An important gene associated with Retinal Degeneration is RPE65 (Retinoid Isomerohydrolase RPE65), and among its related pathways/superpathways are Visual phototransduction and Diseases of the neuronal system. The drugs Dorzolamide and Carbonic Anhydrase Inhibitors have been mentioned in the context of this disorder. Affiliated tissues include retina and eye, and related phenotypes are nervous system and pigmentation
